HelpStreet Health Centres are fully registered NDIS providers across all of our allied health services across both of our locations.
What is NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for Australians with a disability, their families and carers. It will provide approximately 460,000 Australians under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live an ordinary life.
As an insurance scheme, NDIS takes a lifelong approach, investing in people with disability early to improve their outcomes later in life. The NDIS supports people with disability to build skills and capability so they can participate in the community, receive appropriate treatment and reach their full potential.
How do you register?
The only way to register is to contact the NDIS directly on 1800 800 110 and indicate your intention to register. They will put you onto their registration team who will forward the appropriate paperwork. Once this has been completed, NDIS will contact you to determine your eligibility and create a care plan.
Team Care Plan:
If you already have a team care plan in place, and you require physiotherapy, podiatry, speech therapy or dietetics, Helpstreet can help you. We are registered providers for all of these services.
